PayBox, MoonPay’s payment vault built for AI, now supports Kamino, one of Solana’s largest decentralized finance lending protocols. With this integration, eligible users can supply supported digital assets to Kamino lending markets or borrow against supported collateral directly from a conversation in Claude or ChatGPT.
Kamino is a decentralized finance protocol for lending, liquidity, and leverage on Solana. In its lending markets, suppliers provide assets to shared pools from which borrowers can draw. Borrowers pay interest, which is distributed proportionally to suppliers. Rates vary based on borrower demand, market utilization, and other conditions.

How it Works
A user can ask Claude or ChatGPT to “supply 500 USDC on Kamino” or “borrow USDC against my SOL.” The AI prepares the transaction and presents it for execution through PayBox.
The same permission rules that govern every PayBox transaction apply here. Users choose between Always Ask, where each transaction requires passkey approval, and Autonomous, where the AI can act within the limits the user sets. Funds and keys do not move outside the user’s control, and access can be revoked at any time.MoonPay launched PayBox in July 2026 as a payment vault for AI assistants. PayBox connects to Claude and ChatGPT through a custom connector and allows an AI to prepare payments and onchain transactions without receiving the user’s private key or other raw credentials. Wallet keys are protected through threshold cryptography and secure enclaves, so no single party, including MoonPay or the AI assistant, can access a complete private key or sign independently.
The Kamino plugin is live today inside PayBox at paybox.sh. It is not currently available to users in the United States, the United Kingdom, the EU, or Australia. Availability may vary by jurisdiction, asset, and product eligibility.
