– Samsung SDS launched online logistics platform for e-commerce
– Bithumb, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, was hacked and lost about $30 million in digital assets
– John McAfee will no longer promote initial coin offerings

The Central Bank of Brazil developed blockchain platform for data exchange between financial regulators, such as the Superintendence of Private Insurance, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil, and the National Pension Funds Authority.

Samsung SDS launched CelloSquare 3.0, online logistics platform for e-commerce that “integrates Samsung SDS’s global logistics know-how, blockchain and artificial intelligence.”

“E-commerce merchants can reduce delivery time and costs by using the optimal shipping methods that CelloSquare 3.0 automatically selects. Also, CelloSquare 3.0 is able to prove the origin of international cargo with blockchain technology, thus enhancing the reliability of the delivered product,” says official announcement.

Bithumb, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, was hacked and lost about $30 million in digital assets. The exchange said that the users suffered from hack will be compensated from Bithumb’s own reserves.

John McAfee, one of the most popular crypto evangelists, tweeted that he will no longer promote initial coin offerings (ICOs) due to “threats” from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Earlier this year John McAfee disclosed that he charges $105,000 per tweet to promote cryptocurrency projects and products.
