– Coinsource received a Virtual Currency License from the New York State Department of Financial Services
– Smart Dubai and IBM announced the launch of the Dubai Blockchain Platform
– Tim Draper reaffirmed his prediction that the bitcoin price will reach $250,000 by 2022

Bitcoin ATM operator Coinsource has become the 12th crypto company to receive a Virtual Currency License from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS).

Founded in 2015, Texas-based Coinsource gives any person the ability to buy and sell bitcoin with US dollars at physical kiosks located around the USA. Coinsource now has a portfolio of over 200 machines nationwide.

Smart Dubai and IBM announced the launch of the Dubai Blockchain Platform, the first government-endorsed blockchain platform as-a-service in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The new Dubai Blockchain Platform will help integrate digitized services and experiences run on IBM Blockchain into citizens’ day-to-day lives.

Venture capital investor Tim Draper reaffirmed his prediction that the bitcoin price will reach $250,000 by 2022, during a panel discussion at the Web Summit conference.

Draper initially predicted that the BTC price will surge up to $250,000 in April of this year. “Believe it, it’s going to happen – they’re going to think you’re crazy but believe it, it’s happening, it’s going to be awesome!” Draper said then.
