Core Contributors, Safe’s Development Studio, developer of the leading smart wallet infrastructure Safe securing more that $100bn in value of digital assets secured, announced the strengthening of its leadership team with the appointment of industry veteran, Rahul Rumalla to Vice President of Engineering.
Rumalla previously founded two innovative Web3 companies, Paperchain and Otterspace, and worked as Director, Engineering & Product with SoundCloud. During his tenure, Rumalla was instrumental in establishing the Integrations and Partnerships group, driving key initiatives that expanded SoundCloud’s reach and functionality.
Rumalla brings a wealth of experience from the crypto and music industries, combining his expertise as a technologist and product strategist. His journey began with his keen interest in addressing supply chain challenges within the music industry and finding solutions in the ethos of crypto. At the Safe project, he will be responsible for managing Safe’s engineering organization that currently secure assets worth hundreds of billions, denoting the scale and complexity of Rumalla’s new mandate.
