– Fidelity Investments is looking to expand its institutional crypto asset platform to include trading services for the top five to seven cryptocurrencies.
– Vitalik Buterin, has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Basel.

– SEC has charged professional boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and music producer Khaled Khaled for unlawfully advertising initial coin offerings (ICOs).

Taiwan-based tech giant Asus has parnered with mining software provider Quantumcloud, thus allowing gamers to use their idle graphics cards (GPUs) to mine cryptocurrency and receive a digital cash payout through PayPal or WeChat.

Fidelity Investments is looking to expand its institutional crypto asset platform to include trading services for the top five to seven cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.

The creator of ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Basel.

24 year old Russian-Canadian software developer received the recognition from the institution’s Faculty of Business and Economics for his role in helping to build the Ethereum network and for his contribution to promoting the idea of decentralization.

The first blockchain association in Mexico, the Blockchain Association of Mexico, was established by Bitso, Volabit, BIVA, GBM, Lvna Capital, ConsenSys and Exponent Capital.

The association’s objective is to educate citizens in the blockchain technology’s applications and to develop standards and practices before the technology becomes mainstream.
