Blockchain news roundup (June 24,2018): Enigma, Intel, IBM, Stellar, Enjin Wallet

– Enigma partners with Intel on research and development of privacy preserving computation technologies
– IBM partners with Veridium Labs to develop a new cryptocurrency that will tokenize carbon credits. The cryptocurrency will be launched on the Stellar blockchain.
– Enjin Wallet hits 100,000 downloads on Google Play.

Enigma, a decentralized marketplace and applicatons platform built by MIT graduates, partnered with Intel on research and development of privacy preserving computation technologies.

“Enigma will utilize Intel Software Guard Extensions (Intel SGX) to create one of the world’s first public blockchains that supports privacy-preserving “secret” contracts,” says official announcement.

IBM partnered with an environmental technology startup, Veridium Labs, to develop a new cryptocurrency that will tokenize carbon credits. The credits will be used by businesses to offset environmental footprints caused by their operations.

The cryptocurrency will be launched on the Stellar blockchain.

Enjin Wallet, which supports BTC, LTC, ETH and all ERC-20 tokens, hit 100,000 downloads on Google Play.
