Indian technology company Tech Mahindra will implement a blockchain-based solution to protect mobile phone users from spam calls. The solution will impact over 300 million mobile subscribers in the country.

Amazon has launched AWS Managed Blockchain Service, which “makes it easy to create and manage scalable blockchain networks”.

The cryptocurrency payment processing firm Bitpay partnered with provider of tax related financial products Refundo. The collaboration will give U.S. residents the ability to receive all or a portion of their federal and state tax refunds in BTC.

Crypto exchange ErisX raised an additional $20 million funding for its Series B, bringing on new investors including Castle Island Ventures, Dragonfly Capital Partners, and New York Digital Investment Group.
The newly injected capital will prepare the firm for its upcoming crypo derivatives market, which is scheduled to be launched by the end of the year.
So far, ErisX has a disclosed $47.5 million in total funding.
