– Binance launches an analysis division, Binance Research
– Seagate will use IBM Blockchain Platform to reduce global hard drive counterfeiting
– The port of Valencia has joined a blockchain-based supply management system developed by IBM and Maersk
– South Korean government will invest $35 million in blockchain development next year
– Erik Voorhees said that the growing US debt will inevitably cause a big spike in crypto

The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance launched an analysis division, Binance Research, to conduct institutional-grade research reports with the aim of “increasing transparency and improving the quality of information available within the crypto space”.

Seagate, a world leader in data storage solutions, will use IBM Blockchain Platform to reduce global hard drive counterfeiting.

The port of Valencia, one of the largest in Europe, has joined the TradeLens platform, a blockchain-based supply management system developed by IBM and Maersk.

Next year, South Korean government will invest $35 million in the development of blockchain technology industry. This is three times more compared to 2018.

ShapeShift CEO Erik Voorhees said that the growing US debt, hovering around $21.7 trillion in November 2018, will inevitably cause a big spike in crypto.

“When the next global financial crisis occurs, and the world realizes organizations with $20 trillion in debt can’t possibly ever pay it back, and thus must print it instead, and thus fiat is doomed… watch what happens to crypto,” tweeted Erik.
