– BBVA issues a $150 million syndicated loan via Ethereum blockchain
– Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange published papers how to create infrastructure for cryptocurrency assets
– SWIFT denies integrating Ripple’s xRapid payment solution
– Augur, a decentralised forecast platform, is back in the game amid US midterm elections

BBVA, the second largest bank in Spain, has issued a pilot syndicated loan worth $150 million via Ethereum blockchain.

Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has published a document on how to create infrastructure for crypto transactions and blockchain implementation in accounting reporting in the emirate.

ADX wants to support financial institutions in their efforts to introduce services related to innovative investment instruments.

SWIFT, the global provider of secure financial messaging services, has denied rumours that it will integrate Ripple‘s payment solution.

XRP, the cryptocurrency associated with Ripple, temporarily overtook Ethereum in market capitalisation earlier on Tuesday.

Amid midterm elections in the US Congress, Augur, a decentralised forecast platform, has reached a record of $2.1 million in ether bets. The platform popularity has been in decline since summer after it conducted quite a successful ICO.
