Miami, May 31, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- As part of its efforts to help compliance practitioners meet rising regulatory risks across the Australasian region, ACAMS will host a special 2-day training and networking event for its 2nd Annual AML & Anti-Financial Crime Conference – Australasia. Beginning on June 20th, attendees of this in-person event will hear from high-level expert speakers on the most pressing regional compliance topics of today, including recent regulatory changes, sanctions practices tied to the invasion of Ukraine, emerging illicit-finance typologies in the Pacific Islands and Papua New Guinea, strategies to combat human trafficking with existing due diligence procedures, and regional environmental-crime risks linked to crypto-assets and transnational money flows.
