Koii Network is turning data hosting upside-down through a user-powered node network, allowing anyone with an internet connection to participate. IBM’s Hyper Protect startup accelerator has recognized the importance of this mission and has welcomed Koii to join the ranks of 15 hand-picked startups that are leading the way in protecting customer data. As the blockchain industry is ravaged by continual hacks, Koii’s introduction to the cohort signifies its success in, and dedication to, developing a secure user experience.
“We’re very proud to be included in the cohort,” said Al Morris, CEO, and co-founder of Koii Network. “Our inclusion reaffirms our continued dedication to ensuring we are best positioned to protect our users through robust security protocols. Aligning with an accelerator that fully recognizes the importance of promoting a more equitable ecosystem through its diversity, equality, and inclusion efforts is especially pertinent.”
As a member of the 5th cohort, Koii receives $120,000 technology credits to use IBM’s suite of services, notably including Cloud Hyper Protect Services. Access to these services will allow the Koii team to continue working to keep sensitive data safe, private, secure, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Koii will also work with Village Capital for one-on-one investment readiness and business development mentorship.
