Nodeinfra Joins SphereNet as a Validator Partner

September 11, 2026 By Crypto Reporter PR

Seoul-based blockchain infrastructure company Nodeinfra has joined SphereNet, Sphere Labs’ compliance-native ledger for regulated global finance, as a validator partner, running a node that helps secure the network from testnet through mainnet.

Nodeinfra is an engineering-led operator. Incorporated in 2021 and running nodes since 2022, the company has operated more than $400 million in stakes across 800+ servers and more than 10 blockchain networks. It has done all of this with zero slashing incidents, meaning no network has penalized it for downtime, error, or misbehavior.

Korea is one of the most active digital asset markets in the world. The won trades against digital assets at volumes second only to the US dollar, roughly one in three Koreans hold digital asset accounts, and the country’s largest banks have formed a consortium to prepare for won-denominated stablecoin issuance as enabling legislation advances through the National Assembly. Across payments, cards, and banking, Korean institutions are laying the groundwork for regulated digital money at national scale.

Beyond its validator role, Nodeinfra is working directly with that transition. The company is running exploratory proofs of concept with companies across industries in the Korean market and builds on-premise wallet infrastructure designed for the network segregation requirements Korean financial institutions must comply with. Because Korean regulation still requires sensitive financial systems to stay separated from the public internet, wallet software for these institutions has to run on their own servers, inside their own networks. Nodeinfra is one of the operators doing that work on the ground today.

“Korea is well positioned to become one of the world’s most important markets for regulated digital money. Operators helping to responsibly lead that shift at home are exactly who we want to work with, and we’re glad to welcome Nodeinfra to the ecosystem as a SphereNet validator partner.” said Arnold Lee, co-founder and CEO of Sphere Labs.

SphereNet’s validator set is designed for diversity across geography, jurisdiction, and operator type. Some validators bring the weight of global enterprises. Nodeinfra brings the depth of a specialist: a highly technical team of career operators whose entire business is keeping ledgers running without incident. A network serving regulated finance globally is stronger for having both.

“SphereNet’s neutrality and compliance-first design match what Korean financial institutions need to operate on-chain. We’re glad to support the network as a validator and help bring it to Korea,” said John Youngseok Yang, CEO of Nodeinfra.

Compliance-first is how SpherePay, our B2B cross-border payments API, already settles billions in annualized volume for 200+ businesses and institutions across the United States, LATAM, and APAC. SphereNet extends that approach to the institutions that move the world’s money, secured by a diverse and growing validator set spanning global telecom groups, dedicated infrastructure operators, and beyond.
