HONG KONG--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#DAO--In early December 2021, Asia's top influential blockchain media PANews opened submissions for the PANews' Retrospect of the Year (PARTY) AWARD 2021. Now, the winners across eight categories are revealed. The final winners' medals exhibit has been held in Decentraland from Jan.6th to Jan.10th.
PARTY AWARD is a recollection of the brightest and best-achieving projects and celebration in honour of outstanding personalities in the blockchain industry. Among them, the Hong Kong-based NFT + DeFi venture Vera attracted a lot of attention thanks to their innovative model that makes NFT tokens work for users in renting, lending, financing, and mortgage.
Voters consider Uniswap V3, OlympusDAO, Anyswap, TOKEMAK, Chainge Finance, Synchrony, NAOS Finance, and ALPACA the Best New Decentralized Finance Applications of the Year. OlympusDAO builds a blockchain-based reserve currency and a true store of value that offers staking APY reversely proportionate to staking amounts, while the Singaporean NAOS brings real-world assets to blockchain. Curve, PancakeSwap, BakerySwap, Aave V2, and 1SOL were chosen the Most Popular Decentralized Finance Applications of the Year.
The Most Popular NFT Projects of the Year include CryptoPunks, Bored Ape Yacht Club, APENFT, HighStreet, Cyberspace 4 Philosophers, CyBall, and MythArt. Axie Infinity, Decentraland, TheSandbox, GALA, and Singularity became the Best Crypto Games of the Year. Under CeFi, the Best Centralized Finance Applications of the Year are Binance, OKEx, Kucoin, Gate.io, Crypto.com, MEXC, Huobi, Coinbase, BYBIT, and FTX.
Ethereum, Solana, NEAR, Conflux, and Neo are named the Best Infrastructure of the Year, while the Most Popular Web3.0 Applications of the Year include Mask, DFINITY, TRON, Oasis Network, Mirror, ONTO Wallet, and Litentry. The Most Popular Investment Institutions of the Year list IOSG, Animoca, a16z, paradigm, NGC, Three Arrows Capital, LD Capital, Fenbushi Capital, SNZ, and Digital Strategies.
Under the Persons category, Vitalik Buterin, Sam Bankman-Fried (founder of FTX), Elon Musk, Gavin Wood (founder of Polkadot & Kusama), and CZ became Persons of the Year, and Cao Yin, Wu Talk, Dovey Wan, Real Satoshi, Lan Shi, Ting Song, Song Jiaji, Mao Little Brother, and Lanhubiji were voted Key Opinion Leaders of the Year.
