zondacrypto Appointed Official Crypto Sponsor of Giro d’Italia Women

June 11, 2025 By Crypto Reporter PR

Who and What:

zondacrypto, a leading European regulated digital currency exchange, has announced its sponsorship of the world-renowned Giro d’Italia Women 2025 (Giro Donne). This partnership aims to further strengthen zondacrypto’s presence in European cycling – which already includes sponsorships of the Strade Bianche, Milano-Sanremo and Tour de Pologne races.

The Event:

Established in 1988, the Giro d’Italia Women is considered one of the most challenging and prestigious events in the women’s cycling calendar. Attracting elite riders from across the world to its demanding Italian routes, the race has been instrumental in elevating the profile and competitiveness of women’s cycling. This year’s race will take place from July 6 to 13, unfolding across 940 kilometers and eight stages, starting in Bergamo and ending in Imola. The full route map can be found here.

On the Partnership:

“While many businesses focus on sponsoring men’s sports, we see the value in women’s sports, supporting their growth and, in this case, leaning into our passion for cycling,” said Przemysław Kral, CEO of zondacrypto. “When you invest in a Formula One team, it’s a given that millions of viewers pay attention to your brand. But women’s cycling is still a growing sport – and that’s exactly the point. It’s so rewarding to go on this journey together and help realize its full potential. When it comes to our industry, we believe that crypto is for everyone. And the same is true for cycling. We’re proud to be playing our part to make both more accessible.”

“zondacrypto’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the digital assets space aligns perfectly with our vision for the exciting future of women’s cycling,” commented Marco Sorosina, Head of Sales and Partnerships at RCS. “We share a common ethos of high performance, resilience, and a dedication to achieving new milestones. Their support is invaluable as we continue to elevate the profile of women’s cycling and provide a platform for these athletes to showcase their exceptional talent.”

Further Details:

zondacrypto is likely the strongest cryptocurrency sponsor of cycling in Europe, as a result of  its support for races Giro d’Italia, Tour de Pologne, Strade Bianche and Milano-Sanremo, cyclists Katarzyna Niewiadoma, Andrea Pusateri and Tiffany Cromwell, and team CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto Racing. The decision to expand its sponsorship presence in cycling is geared towards differentiating it from rivals in the cryptocurrency sector who also sponsor sports.

The exchange also has an ongoing commitment to supporting established and emerging sportspeople and teams outside of cycling. It actively sponsors sports teams including Bologna FC, Juventus FC, Atalanta BC, Parma Calcio, AS Monaco and AS Monaco Basket. Outside of cycling, zondacrypto also has other brand ambassadors, including racing drivers Arthur Leclerc and Valtteri Bottas, tennis player Magdalena Fręch, and others.
