Bitpunter unveils transaction mining to igaming

January 14, 2020 By Crypto Reporter PR

Bitpunter, the crypto-based, Curacao-licensed sportsbook and casino gaming platform, introduces the concept of transactional mining to the igaming industry. The system rewards players with a share of the company’s net gaming revenue in proportion to their gaming turnover, regardless of win or loss, in Bitpunter utility tokens (BPTT) and U.S. dollars. Bitpunter’s casino and sportsbook also offer some of the lowest spreads on the online igaming market.

Transactional mining has taken the crypto industry by storm over the past year, after crypto exchanges like CoinBene and Bit-Z implemented transactional mining and saw more than $1 billion each in trading over a 24-hour period on each platform. Transactions provide compelling incentives which help retain participant enthusiasm and activity  by providing dynamic rewards. In the same sense, sports betting and casino gaming platforms, while offering a clear incentive in the potential to win, lack alternative incentives to retain players. That’s where Bitpunter’s token-based incentives come into play.

Bitpunter creates an incentives-driven, high-liquidity igaming ecosystem with three main tenets:

  • Trustless, secure blockchain: Using best-practices in blockchain technology to ensure security and transparency, with the eventual goal of decentralizing.
  • Blockchain wallet: Game winnings can be instantaneously transferred to a blockchain wallet with low fees, in addition to traditional methods such as bank transfers and credit cards are at the user’s disposal.
  • Transactional mining: Rewarding players based on turnover volume with platform utility tokens, and rewarding utility token holders with U.S. dollars.

Players can engage in a variety of games, including live dealer casino, slots, poker, skill games, and sports betting. A few of the igaming providers, which total 27, include Zeus, BetConstruct, Evolution, and Patagonia. Moreover, Bitpunter provides some of the lowest spreads in the industry and high betting liquidity.

About
Bitpunter is an igaming and sportsbook platform aiming to change the industry by harnessing blockchain technology and an incentive-driven, transactional mining model to retain players and maintain betting liquidity. The company was founded in late 2018 and in November 2019 officially announced the launch of its transaction mining program. Bitpunter is fully licensed and regulated by the Government of Curacao under the gaming license 365/JAZ. It is the first company to offer transaction mining on a sportsbook and igaming platform.
