Animoca Brands, a global digital assets leader building and investing in impactful technologies and ecosystems to reimagine future economies through AI and the agentic web, announced the live pilot of new AI-powered commerce capabilities developed in collaboration with Visa for the platform Minds by Animoca Brands (“Minds”). The collaboration represents an important step toward the next generation of digital commerce, where AI agents can help consumers discover relevant rewards, make more informed purchasing decisions, and securely complete transactions on their behalf — all within user-defined controls and trusted payment frameworks.

Minds, Animoca Brands’ persistent AI agent platform, has completed the live pilot of two new agent-led capabilities (“skills”) that leverage Visa Intelligent Commerce (VIC) and cardholder rewards and benefits directory. Using the new capabilities will enable Minds AI agents to support users to identify relevant Visa rewards and complete purchases on behalf of users at selected merchants in Hong Kong, starting with the Bruce Lee Club Ltd eShop.
Minds by Animoca Brands is a platform for deploying and managing user-controlled, always-on AI agents with minimal technical complexity. Through its Bazaar marketplace, users can easily create and enhance agents with new tools, apps, and skills, while enabling multiple specialized agents to collaborate and communicate with one another to execute increasingly sophisticated tasks and deliver personalized outcomes.
Turning AI Recommendations into Secure Transactions
Until now, most AI assistants have primarily helped users search, compare, and plan. With VIC, Minds AI agents can bridge the gap to active commerce: completing transactions on behalf of users while operating with pre-authorized preferences and spending controls. Powered by Visa’s trusted payments infrastructure, the agentic commerce experience combines tokenized payment credentials, authentication, transaction controls, and fraud protections to ensure agent-initiated payments are executed safely and transparently. Users remain in full control of when, how, and under what conditions their AI agents can act, creating a more seamless and trusted commerce experience.
Making Rewards More Personalized and Contextual
Minds has introduced a cardholder rewards and benefits directory that helps AI agents to identify and surface relevant Visa Hong Kong and China offers and rewards opportunities based on a user’s eligible cards, preferences and intended purchase journey. Instead of manually searching for promotions or comparing benefits across cards, users can rely on their AI agents to discover the most relevant rewards opportunities, evaluate potential value and incorporate those options into the shopping experience. The result is a more personalized and contextual rewards experience that helps consumers maximize value while remaining in control of final purchase decisions.
The new skills reflect Animoca Brands’ belief in the future of agentic commerce. By allowing Minds AI agents to assist with card rewards, discover benefits, and complete transactions within predefined permissions, Animoca Brands aims to support more seamless, secured, and user-directed commerce experiences.
Yat Siu, chairman and co-founder of Animoca Brands, said: “For most of the history of digital payments, innovation has meant making the same consumer journey faster or less expensive. Agentic commerce introduces a more fundamental shift by allowing an AI agent to act on a user’s behalf within clearly defined permissions. Today marks a step toward that future, and reflects our view that users should have meaningful control over how AI participates in their digital lives, including how it helps them transact. Our work with Visa Intelligent Commerce acts as a crucial bridge, connecting the emerging agentic world with established human-centric commerce infrastructure.”
Animoca Brands is demonstrating the new skills at the Animoca Brands booth (G50 in Hall 1) at LEAP East, the inaugural Asia-Pacific edition of the LEAP technology conference, taking place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from today to 10 July 2026. The demonstration video of the agentic purchasing skill will feature the Bruce Lee Club Ltd eShop.
