Rhino.fi Launches Cross-Stablecoin Clearing for Businesses

August 21, 2026 By Crypto Reporter PR

Rhino.fi announced cross-stablecoin acceptance for its Smart Deposit Addresses, enabling businesses to accept a range of dollar and euro stablecoins alongside native ETH. Enterprises can continue to receive only the single settlement asset they select.

Smart Deposit Addresses have been live for over a year. They’ve been offering a single account for pay-in and smart onchain settlement across 30+ networks. This expansion applies the same treatment to the asset itself. Counterparties send what they hold while the business receives what it wants.

Across Rhino.fi’s client base, chain proliferation peaked around October 2025, when as many as 27 networks carried meaningful monthly volume. That number has since settled to 10. The two highest-volume chains across Rhino.fi’s clients have changed twice in 18 months, most recently to Base and Tron, which together now account for over half of platform volume.

“Over the last year, the number of chains in active use has consolidated,” said Will Harborne, Co-Founder and CEO of Rhino.fi. “But now there’s a new fragmentation. There’s a whole bunch of new stablecoins being created, and this is becoming really difficult for people building on blockchains to work with. What we’re really doing here is becoming a stablecoin clearing house. That allows you, as a builder, not to have to worry about what the underlying stablecoin is, what chain it’s on, and just to know that you can instantly swap it for all of the other ones.”

“There are hundreds of major stablecoins live or launching, and the earliest companies to adopt a cross-stablecoin clearing solution for deposits, withdrawals and payments will have the fastest growth and become dominant over the next year,” Harborne said.

Alternatives to USDT and USDC are not new. DAI has been in circulation since 2017, and USDS surpassed $1 billion in supply within two weeks of its launch in 2024. What kept assets like these irrelevant to most businesses was that liquidity, chain coverage and exchange support stayed concentrated in the top two. Telling a counterparty to send USDC cost them nothing.

Several newer issuers now pay reserve income back to the businesses that hold and distribute their assets. Robinhood Chain launched on 1 July with USDG as the first stablecoin natively issued on the network, a choice reported as favouring USDG over USDC and Tether because it returns reserve yield to network participants. USDG reaches businesses through the Global Dollar Network, a consortium of more than 130 partners that earns a share of that yield. Moreover, the Open USD consortium returns reserve income to its partners on similar terms.

“What we’re seeing is almost this cultural split,” Harborne said. “Different countries prefer different stablecoins, different ecosystems provide different stablecoins. You’ve got a meme coin trading group that’s grown up around Robinhood that likes USDG. You’ve got European yield farmers that are using EURC stablecoins. You’ve got professional enterprises that are now using EURCV, issued by Société Générale. Each of these is kind of separated. Whereas if you can stitch them all together, all of these different groups that are each growing in stablecoin adoption just interoperate seamlessly and you get much faster growth overall.”

Smart Deposit Addresses accept USDT, USDC, PYUSD, DAI, USDG, USDe, USDS, USD1 and USAT on the dollar side, and EURC, EURe, EURv and EURCV on the euro side. Currently, native ETH is live, with BTC, SOL, BNB and TRX in development. Regional assets are added on request, and Rhino.fi can stand up yen-, Brazilian real-, or UAE dirham-linked tokens as counterparty demand arises.

“Not solving the problem for businesses means being siloed,” Rhino.fi’s CEO added. “If you work with a specific stablecoin, you’re cut out from so many other ecosystems.”

Euro assets carry more weight than their number suggests, because this is where Rhino.fi’s onchain FX sits, and nine of Rhino.fi’s clients have already requested them year-to-date. Stablecoins within the same currency settle 1:1. Cross-currency pairs convert at prevailing market rates, built into the deposit rather than handled as a separate step. A business invoicing in euros can receive a payment sent in a dollar stablecoin without touching a correspondent bank or a card network conversion.

Rhino.fi describes the result as enterprise stablecoin acceptance infrastructure. A business sets its settlement policy once, and Rhino.fi absorbs whatever a counterparty decides to send, now and as new regional assets arrive.

About Rhino.fi

Rhino.fi is the infrastructure layer behind the Rhino Stablecoin Activation Stack, giving neobanks, fintechs, and on-chain businesses a single toolkit to accept, convert, and settle USD-pegged stablecoins predictably across more than 25 blockchain networks.

Rhino.fi’s mission is to make stablecoins behave like real dollars for the businesses building the next generation of financial products. By removing the spread uncertainty, routing complexity, and settlement unpredictability that come with operating across fragmented stablecoin markets, Rhino.fi turns digital dollars into a practical foundation for global finance.
