Waltonchain partners with Chinese coffee shops network

March 8, 2018 By Crypto Reporter

Waltonchain, a platform which combines RFID and blockchain technologies to solve issues of the supply chain management industry, partnered with Xiamen Ishijah Trade Co., aiming to implement intelligent food and beverage management system into catering industry.

The core business of Xiamen Ishijah Trade is management of coffee shops network across major China airports.

As a result of this partnership, Ishijah’s coffee shops will adopt a blockchain-based smart billing platform to “clearly interpret consumer behavior and count turnaround rates accurately”. The platform will track information from RFID tags bound to food and beverages ordered by clients. Data will be loaded to the blockchain automatically, once an item with RFID tag passes via RFID reader. This will help to “achieve accurate integrated management” and “optimize operating efficiency”.

The Waltonchain team believes the partnership will help to popularize the use of the platform at cafes and restaurants.
