Ritual, a leader in decentralized AI infrastructure, and FLock.io, a pioneer in federated learning on blockchain, have announced a partnership to improve the development, verification, and utilization of decentralized AI models. This collaboration aims to enhance the developer experience, improving the onboarding process for users while maintaining transparency in model contributions, usage, and reward distribution.
With the goal of creating an integrated ecosystem that connects blockchain with AI, Ritual and FLock.io’s collaboration will enable developers to build and refine AI-powered applications more effectively. Ritual’s infrastructure, including the Infernet platform and the upcoming Ritual Chain, facilitates native interactions between smart contracts and AI models. With features such as provenance, computational integrity, privacy semantics, and micropayments, Ritual is building the foundational tools for secure and efficient AI model development. Additionally, Ritual’s Altar program further supports early-stage protocols to promote growth within the ecosystem.
FLock.io complements this infrastructure by offering a decentralized platform for developing and refining AI models. Utilizing federated learning and blockchain technology, FLock.io ensures secure model training while maintaining data privacy. Through this partnership, FLock.io will grant developers in Ritual’s ecosystem access to tailored fine-tuning tasks for models and specialized AI solutions. Additionally, FLock.io’s AI Arena will host agent model tasks, which will provide ready-to-use models that are pre-integrated with Ritual’s tools.
To further enhance transparency and decentralization, FLock.io is exploring the use of Ritual’s Infernet to store key data such as model parameters, scoring, and reward distribution on-chain. This ensures that all contributors and developers have clear visibility into the lifecycle of AI models and the associated incentives. Over time, FLock.io plans to leverage Ritual Chain’s advanced capabilities to verify model usage and further enhance transparency within the decentralized AI landscape.
