MOCA Foundation, the community-owned cultural foundation and steward of MOCA Coin, announced that MOCA Coin (MOCA) has listed on Upbit and Bithumb, two of the largest digital asset exchanges in South Korea. In addition, Binance Futures has launched a USDⓈ-Margined MOCAUSDT perpetual contract with up to 75x leverage (USDⓈ-Margined contracts are crypto derivatives quoted and settled in USDT, BUSD or USDC; read more here). MOCA Coin is the token that powers Moca Network, a chain-agnostic digital identity infrastructure for the open Internet.
MOCA Coin listed on Upbit and Bithumb following the recent announcement of a business partnership between Mocaverse and SK Planet, one of South Korea’s largest information and communications technology platforms. Mocaverse and SK Planet will co-create blockchain-enabled user experiences within SK Planet’s existing internet services, which will make use of Mocaverse’s Realm SDK.
Mocaverse started as Animoca Brands’ first official membership NFT project, and has evolved into Moca Network, building the universal account and open user-centric decentralized infrastructure which allows users to retrieve, own, store, and prove their own identity and data by granting permissions to any applications on any chains for verifications. Moca ID is a battle-tested use case of the digital identity infrastructure, a decentralized identifier (DID) offering unique .moca digital identities that has garnered over 1.8 million on-chain users since launch in November 2023.
