Autonomys Launches Auto Horizon Developer Challenge: Build Super dApps with the Auto SDK

January 8, 2025 By Crypto Reporter PR

Autonomys, a leader in decentralized AI ecosystems, invites developers to participate in the Auto Horizon Developer Challenge, now underway. This exciting competition empowers developers to leverage the powerful Auto SDK to create unique and impactful applications. From AI-powered decentralized applications (super dApps) and agent proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to practical tools like Discord bots or chain analysis solutions, the challenge offers endless possibilities for innovation.

With submissions open until January 31, 2025, participants can compete for a share of the $1,800 USDC prize pool while exploring the innovative potential of the Auto SDK—a toolset designed to simplify and enhance decentralized application development on the Autonomys Network.

“The Auto Horizon Developer Challenge represents the next step in empowering developers to unlock the true potential of decentralized AI,” said Todd Ruoff, CEO of Autonomys. “This is a chance for builders to not only showcase their creativity but also shape the future of AI-powered applications using our Auto SDK.”

The Auto SDK equips developers with powerful resources for building dApps, including:

  • Auto Drive: Decentralized content-addressed storage for secure and efficient data management.
  • Auto Consensus: Functions to interact with the Autonomys Network’s PoAS consensus layer.
  • Auto DAG Data: Tools for preparing and organizing data for on-chain storage.
  • Auto Utils: Utilities to streamline interaction with the Autonomys Network.

Prizes:

  • 1st Place: $1,000 USDC
  • 2nd Place: $500 USDC
  • 3rd Place: $300 USDC

Submissions will be evaluated based on innovation, technical implementation, and practical utility, with winners announced by mid-February 2025.

How to Join the Challenge

Getting started is simple:

  1. Explore the Auto SDK: Dive into the Auto SDK documentation and GitHub repository to familiarize yourself with the tools and features available.
  2. Connect with the Community: Join the conversation on Discord, where Autonomys team developers and community members are ready to assist and answer your questions.
  3. Start Building: Use the Auto SDK to create your innovative super dApp or agent proof-of-concept and prepare your submission.

Developers are encouraged to push boundaries and submit open-source projects via Autonomys’ Discord or Telegram developer channels. Submissions should include:

  • A GitHub repository link.
  • A deployed application link.
  • A brief description of the project.

The Auto Horizon Developer Challenge is your opportunity to demonstrate creativity and technical expertise while shaping the future of decentralized AI.
