PR: Blockchain startup Set4Earth offers a greener way to invest

July 19, 2018 By Crypto Reporter PR

Environmentally conscious investors will now have the opportunity to fund green projects through new blockchain-powered platform, Set4Earth.

The revolutionary new marketplace enables users to back eco-friendly ideas, projects and products through a discount SET coin.

The Save Environment Token goes beyond a simple cryptocurrency, with one of the benefits being that it is a mechanism to reward users for supporting the planet through discounted product offerings.

“When we set out to create SET, we wanted to build an ecosystem that wasn’t about commercial gain. The aim is to create a community of like-minded people who want to protect the earth for future generations,” said Chief Executive of Set4Earth Ravindran Nambiar.

The powerful ecosystem brings together project creators, value investors, eco-friendly product buyers and sellers all with the aim of creating a greener environment.

The project, which began eight months ago, is spearheaded by some of the world’s leading Blockchain experts from the United States, India and Australia.

“This is a team with unrivalled green credentials. Together, we’ve already set up a range of initiatives from fossil fuel reduction and air purification to waste management and renewable energy products,” said Mr Nambiar.

There are various practical applications already in train including an ambitious Public Bicycle Sharing (PBS) project across India and other international locations.

Investors can use their SET coins to hire bikes and in the process reduce their carbon footprint.

Leading parking operator Multic in Poland has also given the green light for users to redeem coins for parking.

Other products include anti-pollution devices such as home and car air purifiers as well as hydrogen water bottles.

“Funding and promoting environmentally friendly initiatives has typically been through government bodies. SET puts the responsibility of saving the planet directly into the hands of the community,” said CEO SET, Ravindran Nambiar.

The platform goes beyond promoting eco-friendly products, to create an R&D fund for social enterprises.

The company has used an ICT framework across its entire business and integrated its offering using Ethereum Blockchain technology – which is a proven Blockchain-based cryptocurrency solution.

The platform is open to anyone to buy, sell or invest. The current token price is 0.90 USD with a total of 45 million tokens on offer.
