Delabs Games, an emerging web3 game developer based in Seoul, announced its pivot to Telegram as the company’s gaming platform of choice, backed by fresh investments from TON Foundation and private investor Noah Kim. This strategic shift signals a new era for the company focusing on Telegram as a hub for its upcoming game lineup.
With the support of TON Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to empowering the Telegram ecosystem, Delabs has initial plans to roll out proven hits like Boxing Star, which saw success under 4:33 Creative Labs, along with other top game IPs upcoming that will be reimagined for Telegram’s social environment. In its initial foray into Telegram-native games in July, Delabs launched Giga Chad Bat, integrating blockchain-based mechanics for in-platform play, complete with raid battles and leaderboard features that drive social engagement.
Delabs Game is the web3-focused arm of leading South Korean game development company 4:33 Creative Lab. Delabs’ shift is inspired by 4:33 Creative Lab’s success on the Kakao gaming platform, where it brought popular social games like Blade and Heroes to a massive user base by blending midcore gameplay with social features. Delabs is poised to replicate this formula on Telegram, tailoring games to the platform’s dynamic, community-oriented audience.
