Maple, the leading on-chain asset manager, announced its expansion to Solana, marking a major milestone in its multichain strategy. Launched with the support of Chainlink, Kamino and Orca, this integration brings syrupUSDC, Maple’s liquid, yield-bearing stablecoin, into the Solana ecosystem, one of the most active blockchain ecosystems.
Set to go live on June 4th at 9am ET, Maple’s Solana deployment introduces high-yield lending, composable collateral, and efficient capital loops to institutions, borrowers, and DeFi-native participants. syrupUSDC will be accessible on Solana-native platforms including Kamino and Orca, enabling lenders to earn real yield, borrowers to engage in looping strategies, and institutions to unlock more financing opportunities. Global Dollar Network (GDN) is supporting the launch with USDG being a key supply asset into the market.
To support the launch, Maple’s ecosystem has allocated $500,000 in incentives and coordinated over $30 million in liquidity, establishing a deep and stable foundation for lending, trading, and collateral provisioning on Solana.
The expansion to Solana is made possible by upgrading to Chainlink Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), supporting highly secure cross-chain data and value transfers of the $500M+ market cap syrupUSDC across Solana mainnet and enabling users to mint natively on Solana. This ensures that Maple’s $1.9B+ in AUM is secured via the industry’s most reliable infrastructure and cross-chain solution. Adopting the Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standard for syrupUSDC enables it to be natively transferrable across Ethereum and Solana while maintaining Maple’s high standards of security and composability, all powered by Chainlink CCIP. Via the CCT standard, Maple leverages zero-slippage transfers of syrupUSDC without requiring changes to its token contract, configurable rate limits, and Smart Execution for reliable transactions, even during network congestion.
“Expanding to Solana unlocks a high-speed, high-capacity environment where Maple’s products can reach a broader class of users—from institutions to advanced DeFi participants,” said Sid Powell, CEO and Co-Founder of Maple. “With syrupUSDC now native to Solana, we’re delivering yield, capital efficiency, and liquidity to one of the largest stablecoin ecosystems in crypto.”
Maple’s expansion to Solana reflects its strategic approach to multichain growth focused on high-conviction, high-capacity networks. With over $10 billion in stablecoins circulating on Solana, the integration gives Maple access to one of crypto’s most liquid ecosystems. This expansion also reinforces Solana’s growing role as a hub for institutional DeFi, offering fast settlement, composability, and scale. syrupUSDC benefits the Solana ecosystem by introducing a permissionless, liquid, and institutionally aligned yield asset, and sets the stage for deeper liquidity and capital efficiency across the chain.
