Standard Chartered Forecasts Solana Price Rally to $2000 by 2030, Here’s Why

February 4, 2026 By Crypto Reporter

Solana’s price may have dropped near $100, but analysts at Standard Chartered say it could be one of the most important blockchains by the end of the decade. The bank’s research head, Geoffrey Kendrick, projects a long-term path toward $2,000 per SOL by 2030. Even as near-term volatility affects prices, the bank points to Solana’s transition from memecoins to stablecoin micropayments as the main driver of this outlook.

Solana’s Short-Term Pain Sets Up Long-Term Utility Surge

Standard Chartered revised its 2026 price prediction for Solana down from $310 to $250. This was due to slower-than-expected scaling of its next major use case. However, Kendrick maintains confidence in Solana’s fundamentals, forecasting $400 in 2027, $700 in 2028, and $1,200 by 2029. He believes $2,000 is possible by the end of 2030.

Kendrick explained that while Solana was driven largely by memecoins in 2025, transacting activity is now shifting. In particular, stablecoin transactions on the network have surged rapidly, overtaking Ethereum in volume and velocity. The average stablecoin transaction on Solana is small, frequent, and low-cost—exactly the kind of structure required for emerging micropayment platforms.

One example is x402, a Coinbase-backed project designed for AI-driven microtransactions. Though it launched on Ethereum’s Base network, rising fees have made Solana a more viable option. Kendrick says these platforms could define Solana’s future as a payments layer for the internet.

On-Chain Activity Supports Bullish Outlook for SOL

According to Standard Chartered, nearly half of Solana’s fee in 2025 came from memecoins. However, that has changed. On-chain data now shows a shift in decentralized exchange (DEX) activity from meme assets to SOL-stablecoin pairs. The mix of transactions suggests a new sector is emerging.

Solana’s technical capacity also supports this narrative. It recently processed nearly 1 billion non-vote transactions in a single week, according to on-chain analytics shared by developers. That included an all-time high of 148 million in one day, showing its ability to handle mass-scale transaction flows.

Institutional interest is rising too. The Bitwise BSOL ETF now controls more than 1% of the total SOL supply. Kendrick said this is a sign that longer-term buyers are accumulating positions in anticipation of Solana’s role in new financial models. Digital treasuries now hold around 3% of all SOL, according to the same research.

Minotaurus (MTAUR) Gets Momentum Ahead of Public Launch

If you’re looking beyond the top cryptos, Minotaurus (MTAUR) could be the best crypto to buy before its public listing. This blockchain-based gaming token is built for casual players but backed by audited smart contracts and real use cases. For just $10, you can get over 9,000 MTAUR at the current price of 0.00012655 USDT. That’s the kind of early entry point that long-term rallies are built on.

You won’t find empty hype here in Minotaurus (MTAUR). The project passed audits from SolidProof and Coinsult, and has already gotten over 3.08 million USDT in presale deposits.

With in-game features tied directly to the token, like buying weapons, customizing avatars, and accessing exclusive zones, MTAUR is designed with usability in mind. You get transparency, utility, and a community that’s surging fast. It’s built on Binance Smart Chain for speed and low costs, similar to Solana’s infrastructure.

Why Solana and MTAUR May Be the Best Crypto to Buy Right Now

Standard Chartered’s updated projections put Solana at $2,000 by 2030. This isn’t just speculation—it’s based on visible structural changes in transaction types, on-chain data, and soaring institutional participation. As blockchain use cases evolve toward micropayments and machine-to-machine finance, Solana’s ultra-low fees and scalability offer a competitive edge.

At the same time, projects like Minotaurus (MTAUR) are giving everyday buyers a way to enter early at low costs. With presale success, verified audits, and real in-game applications, MTAUR is becoming one of the best crypto to buy before its exchange debut. It offers the potential for high rallies without relying on hype. Do not miss out on this next top crypto by holding back, buy to enjoy the benefits of coming in early.
