Venly, the blockchain technology provider that offers businesses, developers, and consumers the tools to easily integrate Web3 technology, has announced that it is one of just 16 companies to pilot Stripe’s new fiat-to-crypto onramp.
This integration will allow purchases to be made with Venly Wallet via Stripe’s fiat-to-crypto onramp, enabling fast, efficient, and secure transactions. In effect, this will lower the barriers to entry for users, allowing them to easily make cryptocurrency transactions on Venly, rather than having to navigate the complexities of opening a crypto wallet, completing identity verification checks, and converting fiat to crypto in order to transact. With a seamless checkout flow for consumers and the security and compliance benefits of working with Stripe, developers are provided with the freedom to focus on building features for core offerings.
Tim Dierckxsens, CEO and Co-Founder of Venly said: “Having tripled our team at Venly and on the back of our €21 million Series A funding round this year, we are incredibly proud to now be part of this pilot with Stripe.
As one of the first projects to integrate with Stripe for their fiat-to-crypto onramp, Venly will play a vital role in helping to garner widespread support for Web3. This is a major step towards our vision of enabling all industries to easily leverage and innovate within Web3 by providing solutions that are as simple to use as email.”
Features of the Stripe Integration
This new onramp is built from the ground up using Stripe APIs with the goal of maximising end-to-end conversion through a streamlined user flow. At launch, Stripe will support Polygon, Solana, and Ethereum blockchains, as well as UDSC for NFT platforms, crypto wallets, decentralised exchanges (DEXs), and decentralised apps (dApps).
Built on the secure and reliable Stripe global payments and treasury network, (GPTN) and with a fully customizable API, developers will be able to build offerings suited to their users. This will include the potential for unique features, such as instant automated clearing houses, pre-populated parameters, and state triggered webhooks. The onramp utilises Stripe APIs for identity, financial connections, payments, and Link to create a consistent, unified, and user-friendly purchasing experience.
Venly is a blockchain technology provider with over 2.8M end-users. It offers infrastructure solutions, ready-to-use products, and accelerator services for blockchain projects. The main developer tools are the Venly Wallet, Venly Market, Shopify app, and NFT APIs. UX is made with non-Web3 natives in mind which lowers the barrier for entry while the fiat to crypto onramp helps people frictionlessly interact with Web3.
