Tip Blockchain Network Inc., a Canadian startup based in Toronto is developing the first indexed and fully searchable blockchain – Tip, a platform for decentralized apps (dApps). They’re also developing the first two dApps on the network: Kasakasa – a wallet application that lets users send transactions by username, and Sika – a point of sale system for merchants.
Tip is creating a decentralized network that can be queried for information. The Tip Blockchain will allow storing of arbitrary transaction metadata, which can be attached to usernames and transactions on the blockchain.
The Kasakasa desktop & mobile light wallet will have encrypted peer to peer messaging. It uses usernames as addresses; allows people to search and find friends by usernames, as well as sending $tip token to each other instantly within a chat screen.
The Sika cryptocurrency point of sale system will make it easy for merchants to accept cryptocurrency payments. It will include features like transaction/order management, customer management, sales reporting and analytics.
