Venom Foundation Invites Security Researchers to Identify Critical Network Vulnerabilities, Offering Rewards up to $100,000

October 6, 2025 By Crypto Reporter PR

Venom Foundation, operator of one of the world’s most performant blockchain platforms, announces the launch of a large-scale Bug Bounty program with a prize pool of up to $100,000. The company invites ethical hackers, security researchers, and developers from around the world to discover and report critical vulnerabilities in the Venom blockchain protocol. The program launches on October 6, 2025, and will become one of the most significant initiatives in blockchain security, signaling Venom’s serious commitment to strengthening core infrastructure protection ahead of substantial growth.

The program launch comes at a pivotal moment in the platform’s development: Venom is moving toward the ambitious goal of reaching 500,000 daily transactions by the end of 2025, which will allow the network to join the elite group of blockchains alongside Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism. With current metrics of 150,000-200,000 transactions per day and approaching the 10 million created accounts milestone, security issues become critically important for sustainable growth.

Unprecedented Rewards for Researchers

The Bug Bounty program offers payouts of up to $100,000 for discovering critical vulnerabilities, placing it on par with programs from the largest cryptocurrency platforms. Rewards are distributed through a four-tier system depending on the severity of discovered issues:

  • Critical level (up to $100,000): vulnerabilities capable of leading to significant financial losses, theft of funds, or complete network shutdown;
  • High level: issues related to data leaks or compromise of user information;
  • Medium level: denial-of-service vulnerabilities and disruptions to individual components;
  • Low level: minor information leaks and non-critical bugs.

The program focuses exclusively on Venom’s core blockchain infrastructure, including the base protocol with consensus mechanisms, network operations, and T-Sol smart contract execution environment. Third-party decentralized applications built on the Venom network are outside the scope of this Bug Bounty program and remain the responsibility of their respective development teams.

Strategic Importance for Global Expansion

Strengthening security measures is critically important against the backdrop of Venom’s aggressive international expansion. The platform has already concluded an agreement with the Government of the Philippines to create blockchain infrastructure for the country’s national digitalization program and is conducting negotiations with one of China’s largest fintech companies regarding the integration of Venom technologies into large-scale financial systems.

“At a moment when we’re preparing for a multiple increase in network load and attracting institutional partners, security becomes the foundation of our growth,” comments Christopher Louis Tsu, CEO of Venom Foundation. “The Bug Bounty program with a $100,000 prize pool demonstrates our readiness to invest in core protocol protection and work with the world’s best security specialists to ensure the integrity of our blockchain infrastructure.”

Comprehensive Approach to Security

The Bug Bounty program becomes part of Venom’s multi-layered security strategy, which includes:

  • Regular external audits of the core protocol and smart contract execution layer;
  • Developer training programs through Venom Academy with emphasis on secure development practices;
  • Rapid incident response system with guaranteed report review within 72 hours;
  • Transparent disclosure policy for information about resolved vulnerabilities affecting the base protocol.

Special attention is paid to attracting researchers from underrepresented regions of blockchain development, especially from Southeast Asia and Africa, where Venom is actively expanding its presence.

Technological Advantages Require Adequate Protection

Venom operates on the basis of T-Sol smart contracts and demonstrates one of the highest throughput capacities in the industry — up to 150,000 TPS in stress tests. The blockchain’s asynchronous architecture solves problems of slow transaction confirmations and high fees characteristic of many competitors. However, with growing functionality comes increased potential attack vectors at the protocol level, making the Bug Bounty program a critically important initiative for maintaining network integrity.

How to Participate

Security researchers, ethical hackers, and developers can register to participate in the program by completing a special form. Submissions will open on October 6, 2025, on an ongoing basis. All reports undergo initial review within 72 hours, and payments are made after confirmation of the vulnerability and its successful resolution.

The program operates on principles of responsible disclosure, requiring participants to confidentially report discovered issues before their public announcement. Researchers are encouraged to focus on protocol-level vulnerabilities that affect the core Venom blockchain infrastructure rather than issues specific to individual dApps built on the platform.

The launch of the Bug Bounty program with a $100,000 prize pool underscores the seriousness of Venom Foundation’s intentions to create not only the fastest but also the most secure blockchain infrastructure for the Web3 economy.
