BlockDAG Secures $217.5M After Security Updates, Ethereum Resistance Holds, TAO Sets Up for a Rally

April 26, 2025 By CryptoReporter

Ethereum is back testing resistance levels, and all eyes are on a potential move toward RISC-V, a shift that could reshape the current Ethereum price forecast. In the AI crypto sector, Bittensor (TAO) price action is gaining steam, with bulls focusing on the vital $260–$280 range.

Meanwhile, BlockDAG is putting trust front and center. AMA 7 brought critical updates, including a clean bill of health from Halborn’s audit, CertiK’s team verification, and the introduction of Fortify’s multi-signature security. The result? A presale spike to $217.5 million, signaling that transparency is translating into real traction ahead of the project’s mainnet rollout.

Ethereum Price Forecast: Key Resistance Holds the Spotlight

The Ethereum price forecast remains balanced on a knife’s edge as ETH tests a resistance zone at $1,788, a ceiling it’s struggled with since early April. This comes alongside Vitalik Buterin’s recent proposal to shift the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) over to the RISC-V framework, which could make Ethereum transactions more efficient.

But the move has sparked debate, especially regarding how it might impact Ethereum’s existing layer 2 solutions. Right now, the Ethereum price forecast heavily depends on whether buyers can hold above the descending trendline and finally break through that stubborn resistance level.

Bittensor (TAO) Price Climbs, But $260–$280 Support Is Crucial

The Bittensor (TAO) price is flashing bullish signs after moving cleanly above the $276 resistance zone. Analysts are now watching for a possible run toward $470 ,  but that depends on TAO maintaining its foothold between $260 and $280.

The rising momentum is backed by higher trading volume and a strong Relative Strength Index (RSI) that’s inching toward the overbought threshold. So far, the bulls seem to have control, and if the Bittensor (TAO) price pulls back slightly to retest support and holds, it could solidify a bullish breakout toward early 2024 highs.

BlockDAG Doubles Down on Security & Trust After AMA 7 Updates

BlockDAG is stepping up its game ahead of its mainnet launch. During AMA 7, several security milestones were announced. First, Halborn, one of the top auditing firms, gave BlockDAG’s smart contracts a full approval. Then, CertiK completed its team verification, giving the project added credibility through one of crypto’s most trusted vetting systems.

Perhaps the most impactful change was the addition of Fortify,  a multi-signature system based on multi-party computation (MPC). This infrastructure spreads contract control across several parties, eliminating single points of failure and reducing centralization risks. It’s a big move for a project aiming to build a next-gen layer 1 blockchain that can endure for the long haul.

That security-first mindset is paying off. BlockDAG’s presale has now hit $217.5 million toward its $600 million goal. The project’s community has grown to over 170,000 members, and the BDAG coin price has rocketed by 2,380%, climbing from $0.001 to $0.0248 in Batch 27 of the presale.

For a short time, though, BlockDAG is offering BDAG coins at just $0.0025,  a rare rollback that brings back early-stage pricing. This kind of growth isn’t built on hype; it’s coming from a strong, transparent foundation.

Looking ahead, the project is preparing for its final round of testnet audits, ramping up community-run nodes, and lining up listings on more than 10 centralized exchanges. Some analysts even suggest BDAG could reach $1 in 2025,  a huge leap from its current $0.0248 price.

With solid security, a growing user base, and a transparent strategy, BlockDAG is positioning itself as a layer 1 blockchain designed to thrive, not just survive.

Final Thoughts

As the Ethereum price forecast hangs on potential changes like the RISC-V transition, traders are watching for a decisive move past resistance. Bittensor (TAO) price action is also heating up, but holding the $260–$280 zone will be key.

Meanwhile, BlockDAG isn’t just riding momentum, it’s building it. After AMA 7’s security wins, the project’s presale has surged, powered by growing community trust.

With over $217.5 million secured and big milestones ahead, this layer 1 blockchain is fast becoming one of the top projects to watch as 2025 approaches.
