OAKVILLE, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Harvest Portfolios Group Inc. (“Harvest”) is pleased to announce that it has filed a preliminary prospectus with the Canadian securities regulators for the Harvest Bitcoin Enhanced Income ETF (“HBIX”) and Harvest Bitcoin Leaders Enhanced Income ETF (“HBTE”).
HBIX provides investors access to Bitcoin exposure, with modest leverage, and a covered call overlay to generate significant cash flow. HBTE provides investors access to a unique portfolio with a focus on companies engaged in the Bitcoin and crypto ecosystem. HBTE is also enhanced with modest leverage, and a covered call overlay to generate additional cash flow.

Investment Objectives of the Harvest ETFs
HBIX will seek to provide Unitholders with (i) long-term capital appreciation through purchasing and holding, on a levered basis, an exchange traded fund or portfolio of exchanged traded funds which provide exposure to the underlying price movements of the U.S. dollar price of bitcoin, and (ii) high monthly cash distributions.
HBTE will seek to provide Unitholders with (i) monthly cash distributions and the opportunity for capital appreciation; and (ii) lower overall volatility of portfolio returns than is otherwise experienced by owning, on a levered basis, securities of the Harvest Bitcoin Leaders Enhanced Income ETF’s portfolio directly. To achieve lower overall volatility of portfolio returns, the Harvest Bitcoin Leaders Enhanced Income ETF will generally write covered call options on up to 50% of the option eligible securities held in the portfolio of the Harvest ETF. The level of covered call option writing may vary based on market volatility and other factors.
Harvest, a registered investment fund manager and portfolio manager, will act as promoter, trustee, manager and portfolio manager of HBIX and HBTE and will be responsible for the administration of HBIX and HBTE.
