Jitsuin Launches First Collaborative IoT Security and Assurance Platform for Microsoft Azure IoT Hub and Azure IoT Central

February 13, 2020 By Business Wire

Jitsuin gives enterprise and industrial clients greater visibility of supply chain risks in the digital lifecycle of connected devices based on new blockchain-powered SaaS platform

CAMPBELL, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#Azure--Jitsuin, a leading provider of integrated risk management for enterprise and industrial IoT, has announced the launch of the industry’s first collaborative IoT security and assurance platform for enterprise and industrial clients of Microsoft Azure IoT Hub and Azure IoT Central, and also announced its validation as Azure Co-Sell Ready with Microsoft. Based on distributed ledger technology (DLT), Jitsuin enables greater visibility of supply chain risks in the digital lifecycle of connected devices. Through the co-selling program, Jitsuin can deliver packaged offerings built on Azure IoT technology, streamlining the buying process for IT and security decision makers. Additionally, the company announced that it has achieved Microsoft Azure Gold competency and is available in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.

Operators of critical infrastructure and other essential services face continual supply chain risks from connected Things yet have limited visibility or trust in the devices’ maintenance status and data. According to a recent survey, 89 percent of users don't know how their Things protect their identities or stay up to date. Regulatory burdens, increasing threats, IT/OT convergence, and complex vendor supply chains of hardware components, firmware and software, and integrators and system designers all compound the challenge for CISOs to manage risk with fewer resources. IoT security and compliance teams must have a trusted and shared service history of all assets in order to reveal risk, reduce risk, and report risk throughout the entire lifecycle of connected Things. Jitsuin was founded to address the lack of collaborative tools needed for the cybersecurity supply chain to move fast and fix Things.

“With the launch of Jitsuin’s flagship solution, Archivist, we are changing the game with collaboration from the outset and delivering on our vision and brand, which means ‘Truth in Things,’" said Krishna Anne, Co-Founder and CEO for Jitsuin. "Achieving Microsoft Gold competency and Co-Sell Ready status is a significant milestone that makes it easy for customers to benefit from the new Jitsuin technology while building their IoT solution architecture on the scalability, reliability, and agility of Microsoft Azure.”

As part of the Co-Sell Ready partner ecosystem, Jitsuin enables enterprise and industrial clients using Azure IoT Hub and Azure IoT Central to gain greater visibility of IoT risk while reducing it, continually prove compliance, enable deeper collaboration with the cybersecurity supply chain, and assure intelligent operation. Jitsuin Archivist provides a security and compliance layer for Digital Twins and data-driven operations, connecting with Azure components such as IoT Hub, IoT Central, and Power BI to head off risks, apply updates, and demonstrate compliance in concert with the enterprise’s existing tools. By integrating fully with Azure AD, Jitsuin Archivist also ensures user access management is fully compliant with enterprise rules.

“Jitsuin adds collaborative risk management for Microsoft Azure customers on their journeys of digital transformation,” said Gavriella Schuster, Corporate Vice President, One Commercial Partner (OCP) at Microsoft Corp. “Jitsuin Archivist helps lower business risk through blockchain-level verification and permanent cryptographic proof of the activity of connected devices on a network.”

Security compliance of connected devices in essential service delivery affects many industries, including energy, infrastructure, transportation, healthcare, insurance, communications, and digital platforms. The Network Information Systems Directive in Europe is gathering momentum, while Jitsuin Archivist improves 48 of the 108 security sub-functions of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

Jitsuin Archivist is available immediately in the Azure Marketplace: https://azuremarketplace.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/apps/jitsuininc.jitsuin_archivist?tab=Overview
