NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ledger, the world leader in digital assets security for consumers and enterprises, and Uniswap Labs, the leader in decentralized finance, today announced the integration of the Uniswap Trading API into Ledger Live, enabling seamless swaps from self-custody. Users can now swap tokens on the Uniswap Protocol without leaving the Ledger Live interface, all the while maintaining complete control of their digital assets through Ledger's industry-leading hardware wallets. The Uniswap Trading API is developed and maintained by the same US-based team that built some of the most used blockchain infrastructure and apps.
Swapping through Ledger Live using the Uniswap Trading API will also support clear signing, enabling users to sign transactions with confidence on their Ledger device. Transactions that support clear signing are human-readable and inherently safer than traditional blind signing that is all too common in DeFi. Owners of Ledger Flex and Ledger Stax, the world-first secure touchscreen devices, can use the larger screens to view transaction information at a glance.
Uniswap in Ledger Live will roll out initially on desktop for the Ethereum network only, with support for mobile devices and other networks to follow in the coming months.
