Strategy Inc. reported a net loss of $8.2 billion for the second quarter, as changes in the market value of its Bitcoin holdings weighed on earnings under fair-value accounting rules. The company, which has transformed itself from an enterprise software provider into the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, said it continues to view the cryptocurrency as its primary treasury reserve asset.
